FLX Systems Selected by Outdoor Sportsman Group as Technology Partner

CHATTANOOGA, TN (May 27, 2016) – FLX Systems have been selected by Outdoor Sportsman Group as a partner in the launch of a new app service – My Outdoor TV – in an announcement made today by John Thompson, President FLX Systems. My Outdoor TV is scheduled to launch on June 1, 2016.

Outdoor Sportsman Group’s portfolio, which includes: Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel, World Fishing Network, as well as 15 print publications and 19 industry-leading websites, is considered the preeminent source of entertainment and information for the hunting and fishing consumer.

My Outdoor TV will provide outdoor enthusiasts access to libraries of their favorite hunting and fishing television shows and, in conjunction with the OSG linear networks, will be the premier destinations for all outdoor enthusiasts. The app will include educational content focused on improving success in the field. The new service can be accessed on any mobile device, computer or television connected to the internet for anytime anywhere viewing.

FLX will supply the technology that supports the new app, help build the subscription base and provide unique ways to monetize the new platform.

The initial launch of My Outdoor TV will provide consumers access via the web and both iOS and Android mobile applications. Plans are also in the place for aggressive and expanded growth with Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV devices.
